rescue and rehome cats, rabbits & guinea pigs.
Every year CRRC are asked to take in approximately 1,500 animals, but unable
to due to lack of space. With our wooden cat pens reaching 20 years old they
desperately need replacing and extending, so we can help more animals. This
project is known as The Viv Eadon Project, after a great friend and dedicated
volunteer who suddenly passed away at a young age of 52. Each pen is designed
to be easy to clean, hygienic and very hard wearing. The building will consist
of 45 pens (each housing 2-4 cats), a new vet room, recovery room, an intensive
care unit, 2 large pens for our golden oldies, reception, feed and sluice room.
